Growing Discontent Among Loyal Activists in Radhakishorpur Mandal**

The discontent among the loyal activists of Radhakishorpur Mandal is becoming increasingly apparent, shedding light on a deepening rift within the political fabric of the region. These are the individuals who, in 2013, stood firm against the extreme leftists, playing a pivotal role in the election of the first MLA in the area. Yet, despite their sacrifices, these activists now find themselves overlooked and underappreciated during the BJP’s prolonged seven-year tenure

It is a bitter irony that those who once carried the party’s ambitions on their shoulders now live under the shadow of neglect. Reports reveal that no efforts have been made to inquire into their well-being, let alone extend the basic respect and recognition they undoubtedly deserve. Their plight is exacerbated by financial struggles and the lingering deprivation of the left’s prolonged dominance, a stark contrast to the promises of change they fought for a decade ago.

Adding to the frustration is the behaviour of newer party members, who seem indifferent to the concerns of these veteran workers. This has created a sense of alienation among the 2013 activists, who feel increasingly sidelined. To their dismay, certain individuals, described by some as “lime sharks,” have gained prominence within the Mandal, further fuelling the sense of injustice.

Despite these grievances, the early workers still hold their MLA in high regard, recognising his positive attributes. However, their faith is strained by the lack of outreach and support from the broader organisational structure. As the voices of dissent grow louder, the BJP must address these concerns if it hopes to maintain its stronghold and rebuild trust among its grassroots supporters in Radhakishorpur.
The question remains: will the party acknowledge and rectify its neglect, or will it risk alienating the very foundation of its success?
